The 4th Annual “Taste of Adventure” to benefit Ronald McDonald House and Fellowship of Christian Athletes is scheduled for April 4, 2013 at Remington's in Springfield. The “Taste of Adventure” will include a full banquet dinner of wild game, including but not limited to, elk, quail, lamb and buffalo. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to taste a variety of unique cuisine. The evening will also include a silent and live auction as well as an adventure expo. The auctions will be full of equipment and trips for any outdoor excursion and the expo will include technique demonstrations and equipment training for all to enjoy and hopefully learn from! All of these elements combined are sure to make an exciting evening for every outdoor enthusiast! |

Immanuel Lutheran Church will be hosting a "Start of Summer" picnic and Gospel concert. This will be a family fun event with games starting at 2pm, a BBQ at 5pm and a Gospel concert at 7pm with The Haining Family. Horseshoes, sand volleyball, kisd's games, Frisbee golf, hotdogs, hamburgers, ice cream and all of the fix'ns will be available. Concert will be indoors. Come support HealthCare Ministries --the medical missions outreach of Assemblies of God World Missions-- at our 15th annual golf tournament on June 7th, 2013 at Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield, Missouri.
In addition to championship prizes, we will have several drawings for prizes, including the chance to win one of two IPad Minis! Proceeds go to help HCM send teams of volunteer healthcare professionals on short-term medical missions outreaches all over the globe.

The Values, Ethics and Religion Forum is designed to have construct dialogue concerning the intersection of life and the Bible. The Forum is conducted in a question and answer format. The focus is the discussion of the application of Biblical principles and developing new relationships, have small group interaction, and practice listening to other's point of view and perspectives.
